On 2 February 2023, Italian regulator Consob announced that it ordered five abusive financial websites to black out. The total number of black-out orders increase to 825. Consob has been authorized by the so-called “Growth Decree” to order Internet connectivity service providers to inhibit access from Italy to illegal financial websites. The black-out by Italian Internet service providers is ongoing, but it can take several days for the black-out to come into effect.
Below are the sites to be blacked out:
- Bright Group LLC d/b/a AllFina Group with website allfinagroup.pro and fingroup.click;
- BrokerCreditServiceLtd.net d/b/a Broker Credit Service with website brokercreditserviceltd.net;
- Unico Aust Pty Ltd d/b/a UnicoFX with website unicofx.co;
- CMS Ltd wd/b/a CM Strategy with website cmstrategy.io;
- Olympusbrokers Ltd with website olympusbrokers.io.
The number of websites blacked out since July 2019, when Consob got the power to order that the websites of fraudulent financial intermediaries be blacked out, has thus risen to 825.
