Request 4 Information – Ukrainian crypto scam network around BitStarMarkets
On Trustpilot, the Ukrainian BitStarMarkets (www.bitstarmarkets.com) has a 2.2-star rating and a “poor” trust level. The website is currently down and seems to have disappeared. Quantbitex (www.quantbitex.com) is slightly better and has a 2.9-star rating and thus an “average” trust level. Cryptomatex (www.cryptomatex.com) still holds on to a 4.1 rating and a “Great” trust level, even though some cautionary reviews have recently been read. These three sites not only look identical but are also part of the same scam network in Ukraine. On the websites, they provide Swiss addresses and UK phone numbers.
Three executives of the Ukrainian crypto scam network allegedly used to work as boiler room managers in Sofia, Bulgaria, before they moved to Ukraine. Here are the names and titles:
